The Allegory of the Cave

In this book, the author think that  there is two different worlds in our lives. The first  is getting the wisdom and the other  is being ignorant. The author wants to do a difference in these two character. In my opinion the author wants to show with examples the differences of these two behaviors in the life of the people in our society. One is ignorance and the other is wisdom. Other point that the  author wants us  to mention is the existence of  two characteristic behaviors.
In this time the fight for being each day better is a point which we should imitate. Socrates mention us many  important things in his book. For example Socrates wants to mention with his book the importance of the human behavior. In this book Socrates talk us about of people who are ignorant and wisdom people.
When I read this book I can see how to we can get to success in our lives if we want it.
The  author shows us two ways in our lives, but the better answer is continue with  our dreams. All the people have dreams in their lives. the author explain us that in the life is all possible. Socrates is a philosopher that in all his books talk us about motivation, the use of the reason and how to get our dreams or goals and getting    triumph in the life.
In conclusion this book teaches me to think that all it  is possible in the life.if you want it you can do it

  1. Blog Series Evaluation 1:

This first blog series is missing two out of four entries. "The Allegory of the Cave" is also missing what YOUR place in the cave would be.

For the next set, I want you to check my blog constantly so that you make sure you are not missing any homework.

  2. 1. Is the Main Idea (Thesis) of the passage clearly and correctly stated? No. Who is the author? What is the summary about? What and why the author does think this way. What are these two characters?
    2. Are the important supporting ideas stated correctly and fully? Somewhat, it's like a jumble mess and the Ignorance/Truth statement keeps on repeating. I get what you are trying to say but it’s not in full detail.
    3. Are all (or nearly all) unimportant ideas?
Some.” When I read this book I can see how to we can get to success in our lives if we want it.” You shouldn’t put what you think when explaining the summary.
    4. Is the summary in the writers own words?
No, since the only thing is mention from the "Allegory of the Cave" is it's metaphoric meaning people have a hard time accepting the truth. You haven't mention anything from the story like the prisoners who are in the cave or the freed prisoner went back and tells the other prisoners of what he saw. Leaving out important details when explaining a summary is crucial and makes it hard for the reader to understand what you’re trying to point out. Especially for those who have never read the “Allegory of the Cave”.
    5. Is the summary written with few grammar/spelling/style errors? Many.
    6. Does the summary retain the sense and organization of their original passage? No, again you keep repeating.” One is ignorance and the other is wisdom. Other point that the author wants us to mention is the existence of two characteristic behaviors.”
    7. Is personal opinion included in the summary? Yes. “In my opinion the author wants to show with examples the differences of these two behaviors in the life of the people in our society.” When writing a summary never give you’re opinion since it’s not asking you to. Explain what happen in the story and key events that the essay.
